Many people seek consultation when they feel stuck in recurring patterns, whether in relationships,
self-criticism, work, or in their ability to experience satisfaction and intimacy. People come to me because
something isn’t moving -- patterns keep repeating, self-criticism feels constant, or relationships and work feel harder
than they should. Others come during periods of loss, stress, emotional exhaustion, or change. Some people
feel overwhelmed or disconnected -- whether that shows up as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties,
or major life transitions.
I work collaboratively to help you better understand yourself and to feel more fully engaged
in life: I take an integrative approach that considers both emotional experience and the ways the brain and body influence
how we feel, so treatment is tailored to the whole person rather than to symptoms alone.
Psychotherapy treatment is individualized and not rushed, providing room to slow down, think together, and make sense of
what has been difficult to shift on your own. My goal is to help people gain insight, reduce suffering,
improve functioning, and create greater flexibility and freedom in their emotional lives: to help them feel more flexible,
more connected, and freer in how they live, relate, and make choices.
